The founding idea behind Sentinel resulted from the experiences gained during an extensive and distinguished career in the Security sector all the over the world.

Sentinel’s key competence area, personal Security, is a highly specialized field covered, if at all, only insufficiently by members of the security services of individual countries. There is apparently little interest within the existing structures from an economic point of view in acquiring the necessary staff and technical resources as well as building up the required know how. Among other things, the costs entailed by training definitely continue to deter the decision makers.
On the basis of increased demand our business has become richer by a facet called “Business Intelligence“. Owing to our know-how, the many years of experience and with it the interrelated successes, it has developed into another core business of our company.

Sentinel, however, does not regard itself as a security firm in the traditional sense with which this word is associated in the trade. The theme “brotherhood” would be rather more appropriate here, meaning a merger of idealists, the vast majority of whom have acquired all their skills in public service (within the military or the forces of law and order).
